Yorkshire Bridge Waterfall
Yorkshire Bridge Waterfall. The attractive mossy cascades below Yorkshire Bridge on the River Derwent. Derbyshire, Peak District National Park. I don’t process many of my images in black and white, typically preferring full colour. Here though I think the edit really helps to simplify the scene, bringing out the fine details in the mossy boulders and cascades.
About the River Derwent:
The River Derwent is the largest of all the rivers that flow through the Peak District National Park. Starting on the slopes of Bleaklow, the river is approximately 50 miles long, eventually becoming a major tributary of the River Trent South of Derby.
