About the white-breasted kingfisher:

The white-throated kingfisher or white-breasted kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis) is a large tree kingfisher, widely distributed throughout Asia. They can often be found a long way from water where they hunt a wide range of prey that includes herptiles, invertebrates, small rodents and even other birds. Adult birds are very distinctive and have a bright blue back, wings and tail. Their bodies are primarily chestnut brown with a white throat and breast. Their large bills and and legs are bright red.
