Whinstone Lee Tor – Derwent Edge
Whinstone Lee Tor, Derwent Edge, Peak District National Park. The whole of Derwent Edge is a paradise for photographers with plenty of wildlife and various interesting gritstone tors which have been shaped by the elements over the centuries to form intricate shapes. This particular part is known as Whinstone Lee Tor, standing at just at 415 metres it is the lowest point on Derwent Edge. Despite the lack of elevation to the rest of the edge it offers unbeatable views down over Ladybower and Win Hill beyond.
