Padley Gorge Cascades
Autumnal view down the rocky cascades of Padley Gorge in the Peak District National Park.
Padley Gorge is a deep wooded gorge surrounded by open heather moorland in the Peak District National park. The Burbage Brook runs through the gorge cascading over rocky gritstone boulders to the Derwent Valley below. The stream originally signified the Yorkshire/Derbyshire boundary but the boundary has now been relocated to follow the A625, Hathersage Road.
