This important habitat now only exists in a handful of places in India and is sadly becoming increasingly scarce.

The Indian antelope (Antilope cervicapra) or blackbuckis found in India, Nepal, and Pakistan, where they inhabit grasslands , lightly forested areas and semi desert. Blackbucks are the sole surviving member of the old world genus Antilope. Blackbucks can outrun any of India’s predators with their amazing speed and agility. A trait they evolved to cope with the now locally extinct asiatic cheetah.
