Dawn Frost on Higger Tor
Hoar frost covered rocks at dawn. It was absolutely freezing on the tops, but well worth the early start with some stunning conditions. Higger Tor, Peak District National Park.
About Higger Tor:
Higger Tor, also known as Higgar Tor, is a gritstone outcrop in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park. The summit provides panoramic views over the national park, the most famous of which looks down towards the iron age hill fort of Carl Wark.
