Crook Hill Sunset
Hazy evening light illuminates the sandstone formations on Crook Hill summit. Here I chose to compose the view looking towards the summit of Ladycrook Hill.
About Crook Hill
Crook Hill is an iconic twin-peaked hill in the Peak District National Park. Standing at 382m the summit of Crook hill is the tallest of the twin peaks, with Ladycrook standing at 374m. Both summits give stunning views of the surrounding hills and reservoirs. Evidence of an ancient megalithic stone circle has been discovered between the two peaks, which would have originally consisted of five stones although only two are now standing.
