Burbage Edge Star Trails

Burbage Edge Star Trails. This image was achieved by combining 66 30 second exposures together to show the movement of the stars across the sky. I would have liked to record longer but thick cloud was gradually creeping across the sky and would have ruined the star trails. There’s a couple of Perseids visible, but I’m amazed there wasn’t more in the half an hour or so it took to capture all the images. The Perseid shower was a fantastic night for astrophotography as it coincided with a new moon, meaning the stars appear extra bright.
