Arbor Low
Arbor Low stone circle in the Peak District National Park. Constructed around 2500 BC, Arbor Low is the finest remaining henge monument in the north of England, consisting of around 50 limestone slabs around a central stone ‘cove’. I visited on a horrible rainy and overcast day, not the best for a dramatic scene, so I used an ND filter for a 2 minute exposure in order to enhance the cloud movement in the sky. Luckily, part way through my exposure the sun managed to find the tiniest gap in the thick clouds adding some much needed drama to the sky.
