About the woolly-necked stork:
The woolly-necked stork (Ciconia episcopus) otherwise known as the white-necked stork, is a large wading bird in the stork family, Ciconiidae. It is a widespread tropical species which breeds in Asia and throughout Africa. They can be found in a wide range of habitats including wetlands, rivers and lakes, marshes and agricultural fields. They build their large stick nests on trees close to favoured habitats either singly or in small colonies.
