Salt Cellar in Winter
Salt Cellar in Winter. Some fantastic wintry conditions at the Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge in the Peak District National Park. I‘ve visited this location many times over the years, never quite getting the right conditions. On this occasion hoar frost, snow, low cloud and some sublime light combined for a spectacular Winter wonderland. On this afternoon I was blessed with some stunning conditions, particularly when this well defined beam of light broke through the clouds illuminating the snowy hills in the distance.
