The Salt Cellar – Derwent Edge
The Salt Cellar, Derwent Edge, Peak District National Park. I‘ve visited this location a few times now, never quite getting the right conditions. Although the light was stunning this time, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! The heather more than made up for this though, even with the several miles hiked to get there!
The Salt Cellar – About Derwent Edge:
The whole of Derwent Edge is a paradise for photographers with plenty of wildlife and various interesting gritstone tors which have been shaped by the elements over the centuries to form intricate shapes. These tors include the Cakes of Bread, the Coach and Horses and the Salt Cellar.
