The Old Brewery

I have always been fascinated by the unseen and unusual, and although my main focus in photography has moved towards wildlife and nature photography, I still occasionally enjoy exploring and photographing the unseen parts of the city.

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph an old brewery that I have had my eye on for a long time now. Although the majority of the building’s original artefacts and features have been removed or destroyed, there is still a lot to see with some fantastic graffiti.

On with the photos!

The dizzying view down the stairs, taken using a very shaky camera technique!

Some of the buildings reflected in a huge puddle.

Cannon-5

A pile of old beer kegs and some of the aptly named “art fags”.

The view back up the staircase from the basement.
